OUR TIPS:

All public transport in Athens will be free until July 10: buses, trains, metro and trams. In addition to ensuring that the amount reaches the population and you do not pay any commission you can save some money since some hotel establishments make discounts if you book directly on their own website or by phone. It is very possible that during these days there are large demonstrations in the center of Athens, and it is most likely that they concentrate on the area around the Parliament of Greece and the famous Syntagma Square. Also long lines are waiting at automatic teller machine, so if you really have to use one, take it with philosophy.
